Six Months of Blogging ! A blog round up

I am so excited that my blog is six months old now , I posted my first design on this blog on 1st January 2014 :) Till now I have posted over 50 designs on this blog and with every new nailart I got more motivation and support from all of you. I am quite satisfied with the progress I have done till date and I hope to go on with your love and support. Let's have a look at my favourites..

Summer Garden- Floral Nails

 Coming to the nailart, this nailart is inspired by a paper napkin. The floral print and bright yellow color of this napkin had always inspired me to recreate it on my nails so I took advantage of this theme. I am quite pleased with the outcome and I am sure you will like this bright cheerful mani too :)

FIFA-2014 Nails - Mine and my friend's Nails

Football fever is catching up. I see all products from dresses to toys to footwear to accessories etc representing FIFA :) So why not on nails. Last week my friend came up to me and asked me to do FIFA nails on her and I also had done one on mine :) So here are two FIFA nails and also one set of cutest nails I did on her sweet six years daughter. I am very excited to show today's nailart. It's for #inspirationailjune challenge going on our FB group. You can join us HERE. This week's challenge is inspired by an artist. I was totally confused I have a huge list of favourite artists from Robin Moses to Chalkboard to Lucy's Stash etc etc. I didn't know what to do ?? then my friend came to my rescue, she asked me to do her nails. I showed the designs I had selected and she chose Lucy's water color tulips as she wanted something cool for summers which matches her white outfit :D So here we go.

Happy Father's Day- A nailart inspired by The Lion King

Hello friends,
On the occasion of father's day I tried to do something special on my nails dedicated to my father whom I love and respect a lot. I love this Father's Day Quote I found "DAD is A son's first hero and a daughter's first love". 
Coming to my Nail art I chose the Mufasa and Simba a father son duo from the movie 'The Lion King' as a very lovely relationship is shown between them. I chose the scene where Simba is riding on Mufasa, his father's back as it reminds me how I used to love

Enchant Blue Nail Polishes - No. 60 & 57 (from Qatar) and Water Spotted Nails using nail polish remover !

Hello Lovelies,
Do you love swatch posts ? I enjoy looking at beautiful nail polish shades even if I can't buy so I thought why not treat your eyes with some beautiful colors I own :) Enchant Polish is chinese brand and it has flooded all malls here. There are so many bright and beautiful colors, they come in sets and sometimes loose too. I own a few of them and I chose these two polishes for swatch and NOTD :D

Runway to Bollywood to Nails - Bhibhu Mohapatra Spring 2014 Fashion inspired Nailart

So finally I am sharing my first runway inspired nails which I was planning to do for a long time. Fashion is indeed a great inspiration and I thought to try my hand on it too :D When I came across this creation of Bibhu Mohapatra , a leading fashion designer based in NYC I instantly felt I can do this on my nails.This is a part of his Spring2014 collection.  I got the inspiration pic from Vogue India magazine. Sonam kapoor (Bollywood actress) wore this dress in a party !She totally rocked it with her smoky eyes and nude lips :) And here is my nailart !

World Environment Day 2014 Nailart- Raise your voice ; Not the sea level

Today is world environment day so I did a nailart dedicated to this theme. My kids are celebrating environment day at school and doing various activities which help them to understand how can we protect our environment. I also got motivated and thought to do a nailart to show my support to the cause. I picked up the images from UNEP and other sites for inspiration and painted them on my nails.
