Nails inspired by book Big Little Lies

Hello Lovelies,

Today I'm going to share nail art inspired by a book. Last month I joined a facebook group called 'The Polished Bookworm'. I am so glad to be part of this group as I am able to revive my love of reading again. Every month one book is selected by the members and after we finish  reading we discuss the book and do a nailart inspired by the book. In January we all read Big Little Lies and I did my nails inspired by the book cover.

Indian Republic Day- 26 January 2015 Nailart

Hello friends,

Happy Republic Day to all Indians there :) This is a national festival and we Indians celebrate it with great zeal and enthusiasm. On 26 january 1950 Constitution of India came into force and since then each year this day is memorised with great honour. We are celebrating 66th Republic Day and to make this occasion more special Mr.Barack Obama, U.S. President glorified the event as Chief Guest. Obviously I had to decorate my nails with this theme so here I present my nailart on Indian Republic Day.

Golden Globe 2015- Three Red Carpet Inspired Nails

Today I will share nailart inspired by dresses worn by some celebrities at Golden Globe 2015. When it comes to inspiration for nailart I think fashion stands as a great source of inspiration . If you browse through what all celebrities wore at red carpet you can find unlimited inspiration. Here I tried to create three looks inspired by red carpet gowns on my nails and I totally enjoyed doing and wearing them. Let's have a look....

Golden Globe is like a big festival where international media eyes upon celebrities' style, their dresses and accessories etc. I was also curious to see what these top celebrities in their beautiful evening gowns wore on their nails. So while googling I found some celebrity pics flaunting their well groomed nails . I was hoping to find some nailart but I couldn't except one. Check out the pictures below if you are interested.

Tribal Nailart Tutorial - Bestie Twin Nails

Today I will share Tribal Nails along with a video tutorial (yayyy!). If you follow me on my social platform you might have seen them already !  (ONLY if it appeared in your feed, mine acts weird and I miss a lot of good nailart so I follow my friends on all social platforms in case I miss on any one ! )Anyways ! back to nailart. I did this design with Ka Yee on Instagram as a part of bestie twin nails.

We did it little differently instead of painting exactly similar design we decided to go by theme and colour. She is very talented as you can see from her instagram page so I was really excited for what she will come up with !

31 DC 2014- December Nail Challenge round up

A throwback post for today. I did a nailart challenge/competition in December 2014 organised by thebeautyofnailpolish on instagram. Four days back result was announced on Instagram and I am the first place winner in the challenge which means I will be getting a complete set of Pahlish Nail polish's winter collection !! Yayyyyyyyy :) Pahlish is U.S.A. based indie brand and I am really excited as it will be my first indie polishes :D

Aliexpress 36 watt UV gel Lamp and Gel Kit - First Impression.

Today I am going to share my opinion on UV gel lamp and Gel kit I ordered from Aliexpress. I placed my order in December and got it in  almost one month and which I think is fair enough as shipping was free and from China.

Aliexpress.com is an online store and a hot market for many items from clothes to gadgets to accessories and sometimes I see unique products too. It has lots of nailart products at reasonable price and mostly with free shipping. I wanted to try my hand on gel nails for long and so I went with this starter kit which was pocket friendly for me. Let's check out what all I got ........

Sweater Nails and Welcome Baby

Today I will share a very very special nailart. It's the last theme of easy winter nails challenge inspired by winter outfit and I chose to do Sweater Nails. But I am dedicating this nailart to my sweet friend and very talented nailartist Disha who posts her design as Nail The Art, reason being she received her bundle of joy in the form a baby boy on 1st Jan :) What a great new year gift !! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015- First Blogiversary and Yearly Round up

First of all wish u a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015 :) I pray you all get whatever you dream of in this coming year. Today my Blog completed one year :D When I look back I feel that this year was a rewarding one. I won three nailart competitions , a giveaway, got featured on nail it mag twice and also on various big pages on instagram but best of all found lots of lovely nail buddies :D . This year I did over 130 nail designs and I am proud of many of them. I would like to tell you a little about my nailart journey and would share some pics which were liked by most of the people and are my favs. So are you ready ? :)
