 Amid COVID-19 there is a slump in economic growth of countries so it's mandatory that we all support Indian manufacturing industries. So I made this nailart in my support for #vocalforlocal #atmanirbharBharat campaign . To make this nail art I used acrylic paints. Everything is handpainted .

International Labour Day 2020 Nailart- Tribute to #CoronaVirusWarriors

Posting after a long time !! This lockdown has given me a push to restart my old hobbies and I thought why not revive my BLOG :) So after almost an year I am posting on my blog. Today is 1st of May celebrated as International Labour Day. At this point of time it is really significant that we remember and feel gratitude for our heroes who are working for us risking their own health ; these are #coronavirusFighters. So I decided to paint a few professions on nails. Everything is done using acrylic paints and coated with gel top coat. I really hope you like this nailart. I am wearing yellow nails for Seth, a five year old hero who is fighting with a rare disease called Severe Combine Immune Deficiency (SCID). All over Instagram and other social media you can search the tag #WearYellowForSeth and see how people have joined in to make this day special for Seth. Seth loves Fireman Sam , Paw Patrol and Yellow. So I thought to draw some characters for Paw Patrol and do Yellow nails. I wish him all the best and may he GET WELL SOON ! Today is 16th December 2014 - two years ago a shameful incident shook the whole nation (India) where a 23 year old girl was gang-raped by six men including the driver in a private bus. Sadly nothing has changed much in two years later, still our newspaper is full of these news. There is a strong need to change the mentality of Men in our society so we Women can feel safe and free. I would like to share a very special nailart today. Nailart is always associated with beauty and considered as an accessory for women. For me it's also a way of self expression, being a part of nail community I know many nailartists who express their emotions, voice their opinions and tell a story through the medium of nailart. This idea of nailart came into my mind when I read the latest rape case by an Uber-Cab driver in Delhi-India. I felt anguished and thought if I can express what I want to say through my nailart it will be a great way for self expression. I talked about it with my friends and some of them agreed to share their nailart  for the same cause. I will share their work tomorrow. Now let's have a look at my nail art.

Meow lolz I am quite excited to share this post. Hello Kitty turned 40 on 1st November , I love this cute Japanese Origin Character. Every little child want to have one hello kitty in their collection. When I came to know that NailPolishQueens have posted a weekly challenge to do Hello Kitty Nails I was so happy and at the same time I wanted to do Movember Nail art too ! (See how tough is the life of a nailart lover :P). I just thought what if I combine both and I just laughed at myself as the idea of adding moustache to hello kitty felt crazy. But out of curosity I searched google (it's a life saver you know) and BAM!! so many images of hello kitty with moustaches which I couldn't beleive. October is breast cancer awareness month. It's coming to end but that doesn't mean we don't have to be aware later, being a woman I know how important is to have knowledge of this menace. As per data out of every 100,000 women 124 suffer from this disease. So take steps now, check yourself at home and if any doubt see a doctor. You can read more about this in my previous post HERE.

World Environment Day 2014 Nailart- Raise your voice ; Not the sea level

My kids are celebrating environment day at school and doing various activities which help them to understand how can we protect our environment.
