Autumn Cat Painting Nailart inspired by Persis Clayton Weirs

Today I am sharing a nailart which I am really proud of and I think I will regard it as one of my best till now. It's first time I painted any animal especially cat on my nails. This painting from Persis Clayton Weirs caught attention and I wondered if I can paint it !! Frankly initially I was scared to try as it was different from what I usually paint (landscapes) but I anyways tried it and I am glad I did. Diwali Nailart 2015

Today is Deepawali also known as Diwali. It's an Indian festival celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm all over India. There is a mythological story behind this festival. Diwali falls 18 days after Dushera festival  (Dushera marks the demise of demon king Ravana by Lord Rama). It's said that Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya (his home) with his wife Goddess Sita and brother Lord Laxmana after 18 days so to welcome him Ayodhya was decorated with earthen lamps called diyas and people celebrated this day as Deepawali or Diwali which means festival of lights. It's biggest festival of Hindus and rituals extend to period of five days. There is another story that Goddess Laxmi was born during Diwali festival. She is Goddess of wealth and prosperity in Hindu religion so she is also worshipped during Diwali. Check out pictures below and enjoy the festivities :)...........

Do you celebrate Halloween? Unfortunately it's not celebrated in India but as a member of nail community I celebrate it by painting my nails. I really enjoy my instagram and facebook feed these days full of creative and innovative work by all nailartists. To add to our enthusiasm New Crumpet Nail Tarts (facebook group) has kept Halloween as theme for our#40GreatNailArtIdeas  Challenge so you will see a lot of inspiration and amazing work at the end of this post. Today I am sharing my review on MoYou London Rectangular Stamper and Scraper. Since I am not much into stamping I didn't own any good stamper and after exploring into the ocean of stampers (online research) I thought to try MoYou stamper and I am glad I did. Before this I had one Konad stamper which works really good for me since I have flat nail beds but it is small in size plus I find that I have to be super-quick with it as polish dries very fast on it. I also tried soft rubber stamper from Aliexpress but it also didn't work for me.....So here I am with my new love "MoYou Rectangular Stamper" :D. Wish you all a very Happy Dusshera !! For my readers who don't know about this festival let me introduce you to this festival. It is a very popular Indian Festival celebrated by Hindus in India. This festival is associated with mythological story of killing of Ravana-King of Demons by Lord Rama. Dushera is also called VijayDashmi and actually the celebration starts with Navratri festival which is dedicated to worshipping of nine forms of Goddess Durga........Yes our culture is so rich full of festivities :) This festival symbolises Victory of Good over Evil !! Autumn in the Country Side- Autumn/Fall Landscape Nailart

Today I am sharing my landscape nails for autumn/ fall. Beautiful fall/ autumn images fills me with awe and I really wish I could experience it in person !! Anyways for the time being I am cheering myself by painting autumn scene on my nails :D. I am quite pleased with how it turned out. It took me around four hours to complete this nailart but I think it's worth. Doing such kind of nailart is always very satisfying. Fall is slowly advancing and nature is slowly changing to show it's best outfit, Right? Sadly I can only enjoy fall season in pictures and online. Being in "non-fall" zone of the world has deprived me from experiencing this magic  :( But I won't quit painting my nails for fall that's only thing I can do haha so here is my first mani for this season. It's #PatternNails but inspired from dark earthy tones of fall. I tried to create #TweedNails but used #DryBrushTechnique for it so they look "Tweed-ish" and then painted the design with acrylic colours. It looks great on nails and the best part you don't have to spend hours to make your nails look that pretty :D . Today I am sharing a very special nailart which I did for raising awareness about childhood cancer. This is really unfortunate to see that so many of our tiny angels suffer from this deadly disease. To raise awareness on detecting early signs and also to encourage our heroes Cupcakes of Hope is running an event where they encourage people to make cupcakes for little soldiers and send their wishes and ray of hope.. Back to school - Cute Owl Nails

It's September and in most places schools are reopening. In middle east where I currently stay it's the time where new term starts in school. My kids are also ready to end their vacation and join the school (NO!!!). As we moved to a new place so they are going to a new school and are obviously excited and nervous (Me too :P)

So I decided why not do a back to school nails for them :) These cute back to school nails are inspired from various images from google so I can't credit any particular one. I really enjoyed doing this mani.  Hope you will also enjoy....
