February2019 Nails- Round Up & Chit Chat

Hello Lovelies,

How was your February? Mine was good with two important days in it - my daughter's and mine bday :) I did 5 nail designs too this month and also started adding new nail sets to my Nail Shop. I am happy to have a productive month but only bad thing happened is I lost all my previous blog comments as I decided to switch to https mode (which is a requirement now by blogger so your site is marked as safe)and as blogger do not recognize intense debate commenting system which I was using before all comments are gone forever (SAD) Anyways I am using blogger comment system now since my previous post.

Now lets look at my nails I did this last month also do let me know which are your favs. :D

Waiting for Spring- Handpainted Floral Nail art

Hello Lovelies,

This is last day for February and sadly spring is still not here. Chilled air is blowing accompanied by occasional drizzles most of the time here in Bahrain. Considering it is a hot country rain is actually welcomed :) Anyhow I wanted to make some flowers on my nails to get a spring feel so I decided to create this nail art. I love how it looks hope you like it too :)

Birthday Nails- Blue Matt Bling Dreamcatcher Nails

Hello Lovelies,

Today is my day LOL I mean my Birthday.I turned 40 today. Back when I was in my twenties I used to think that 40's women are old and boring and I will also become like them:( . But now as I am 40 my thinking has changed I understood that it's being mature not boring :) Though I still love to enjoy life and have fun with my family and friends but I have learnt to handle life better. Most important I have learnt To let go things which are not in your control which was so difficult for me before. I hope I will become better at it :)

 Well enough of my life story :D:D Let's talk about love of my life----- NAILS . I pampered myself with some hot stiletto nails all blinged and in my favourite colour Blue. Also dream catcher is a sweet reminder for me that I still have dreams to chase. :)

Love Birds Nailart - Painting Inspired Nails

It's feburary and I can feel some warmth in air, hoping spring to come soon :) So I did a nailart of this cute bird couple inspired by a painting which I found on google while looking for inspiration. This painting by Dorothy Brooks caught my eye and I thought I should try to recreate it on my nails. I really liked how it turned out. Hope you like it too. Heart on Fire !! Valentines Day Inspired Nail Art

Hello Lovelies,

How are you all? Now a days my feed is flooded with hearts, roses and cute valentine's day nail designs so I had to do one too :D I wanted to do little different design this time. So I went with this tattoo style heart and roses. As always it is all hand painted using acrylic paints and nail art detailing brushes :)

Hello Lovelies,

I am back with another one stroke nail art and this time I painted some roses. I feel I have got a hang of painting roses as I have done it before too. You tube videos are a great help to learn these roses. I love to watch Tartofraises though I don't understand a word she says (she speaks French) but you can easily learn by watching :)
By the way I did these with acrylic paints and tiny flat brush. I hope you like it.

Budhha Nail Art- Spiritual Nails

Today I am sharing a Spiritual Nail Art :) Buddha is a well known name among the spiritual tribe. I myself is interested in spiritual stuff (May be because of my age :P lol) Anyways this idea to create this nail art crossed my mind while I was searching for Buddha Wall Decals for my room. One Stroke Nail Art - Practice Makes Better

I am a big fan of one stroke nail art technique and perfecting this technique is one of my nail art goals in 2019 so yeah you will see more of one-stroke this year :) As of now presenting my first design of this year which did not come exactly what I had in my mind. I liked the design on my thumb though and the idea to add these cute star glitters came last minute to me ^_^

Burj Khalifa Inspired Nails- #MyDubai Nails

I mentioned in my last post about my Dubai Visit for celebrating New Year and Holidays, here I am sharing my nail art which is inspired by a beautiful picture I clicked during my Dubai Visit. It's the magnificent Burj Khalifa in the twilight. Burj Khalifa is a must-visit destination. This tallest man-made building 828meters high, makes you wonder about the power and creativity of the human mind. I was totally mesmerised by this awe-inspiring structure!

Happy New Year 2019 to all. I wish this year to be the best in your life and all your dreams come true. I hope you all have enjoyed this special day with your family and friends. I also had lots of fun with my family as we celebrated our Holidays and new year eve at Dubai. I will share a special nailart in my next post related to my Dubai Visit. Winter Wonderland Nails (Picture Tutorial) and Aliexpress Nail brushes review

A blogpost after a long time !!! Well I am planning to blog as and when possible as I really love to share my passion with the people who share the same interest :) So wish me luck :P

OK Let's start with the post now..........

Today I will share with you a review cum tutorial on winter wonderland nail art. It's been a while I did some landscape nail design and this cool winter weather was a perfect inspiration to create this design.  Another reason to attempt this nail art was that I wanted to try these nailart brushes. These brushes are different from what I have used for past two years so I was skeptic at first but I was so pleasantly surprised how good these brushes are.

These nail art brushes comes in a set of three; two have longer hairs and one has shorter hair. Longer ones are 1cm length hairs but one is thicker than another one. Shorter one has 0.5cm length hairs and perfect for detailing. I made use of all three brushes in the nailart and was quite pleased with the final result. 

At the end of this post I have shared the step by step picture tutorial so you get an idea. I have used acrylic paints from Liquitex to paint the entire scene.
