Textured Tweed & Swirls Nailart- Fall nail design with Video Tutorial

Hello Lovelies,

Fall is slowly advancing and nature is slowly changing to show it's best outfit, Right? Sadly I can only enjoy fall season in pictures and online. Being in "non-fall" zone of the world has deprived me from experiencing this magic  :( But I won't quit painting my nails for fall that's only thing I can do haha so here is my first mani for this season. It's #PatternNails but inspired from dark earthy tones of fall. I tried to create #TweedNails but used #DryBrushTechnique for it so they look "Tweed-ish" and then painted the design with acrylic colours. It looks great on nails and the best part you don't have to spend hours to make your nails look that pretty :D . Today I am sharing a very special nailart which I did for raising awareness about childhood cancer. This is really unfortunate to see that so many of our tiny angels suffer from this deadly disease. To raise awareness on detecting early signs and also to encourage our heroes Cupcakes of Hope is running an event where they encourage people to make cupcakes for little soldiers and send their wishes and ray of hope.. Back to school - Cute Owl Nails

It's September and in most places schools are reopening. In middle east where I currently stay it's the time where new term starts in school. My kids are also ready to end their vacation and join the school (NO!!!). As we moved to a new place so they are going to a new school and are obviously excited and nervous (Me too :P)

So I decided why not do a back to school nails for them :) These cute back to school nails are inspired from various images from google so I can't credit any particular one. I really enjoyed doing this mani.  Hope you will also enjoy....

RakshaBandhan Special : Festive Double Stamping Nailart : El-Corazon stm-11 &stm-23

Today I am sharing stamping nailart with you all. It's my first attempt at double stamping. For this nailart I used El-Corazon stamping polishes and I am very very pleased with the results. Both the polishes stm-11 and stm-23 are very pigmented and gave nice result. I had won these polishes as a prize from El-Corazon's contest on instagram. Let's have a look

I know fall is soon approaching but in India it is still monsoon so I am inspired to do some nailart dedicated to this lovely romantic season ! If you watch Bollywood movies then you might notice hero heroine  dancing and romancing in rain :D so I also painted a couple romancing under an umbrella in rain, I hope you will like it and I also added a step-by-step nailart tutorial so you get an idea if you want to recreate.

Today I am sharing some interesting nailart technique. This is just another quick way to make drymarbling or polybag marbling  decals for nails. I used a regular widetooth comb to create marbled effect so I guess we can call it Comb Marbling ! You get nice marbled effect using this DIY tool. I have a posted a tutorial also so keep reading :)

With fan brush you can create beautiful effects like gradients, distressed look, textured look etc. I was playing around with different ideas and finally settled on this look. This is inspired by Waterfall nailart by The Nailasaurus  only difference is of the brush. She used a normal nailart brush and I used fan brush. I am super excited to share this post. Guess what !!! I had an opportunity to do twin mani with Narmai Naan - The genius artist behind Piggie Luv. I am HUGE fan of her freehand and her landscape designs have always been my favourite. She is one of my favourite nailartist and I was jumping with joy when she agreed to do twin mani with me :D

We decided to recreate this scenery. I loved the beautiful colours in this scenery. I did like how this nailart turned out but I loved her version more. Have a look

Gone Girl - Nails Inspired by Book.

Today's nailart is inspired by the book called Gone Girl written by Gillian Flynn. The Polished Bookworms (A facebook group) decided to read this book for the month of march. It is one of the best sellers but it didn't turn out to be my favourite. I love thrillers but somehow I felt that justice was not done. This book revolves around the marriage of a laid off writer couple. Story is well knit and interesting but I think end was not very impressive for me.

Anyways coming to nailart I tried to bring out the main theme on my nails.

I am wearing yellow nails for Seth, a five year old hero who is fighting with a rare disease called Severe Combine Immune Deficiency (SCID). All over Instagram and other social media you can search the tag #WearYellowForSeth and see how people have joined in to make this day special for Seth.
